Our Story
Most tour companies learn about Morocco from books or business trips. We learned about it from our grandfather’s stories around a campfire, mint tea, under the Sahara stars. We are Hafid and Yousef, two brothers from a Berber family in Merzouga. For us, the desert isn't just a tourist destination; it is our home, our playground, and our heritage.

Hafid Oukhie
The Journey: From the Bazaar to Professional Guiding
Our story starts with Hafid, the eldest. Before he could even drive, he was already guiding. As a young boy working in our uncle’s antique bazaar, Hafid didn’t just sell carpets; he shared stories. He realized travelers didn’t come to Morocco just to buy things they came to feel something. They wanted to understand the Berber culture, the tribes, and the secrets of the Sahara Desert.
Driven by curiosity, Hafid spent his youth mastering languages learning fluent English, French, Spanish, and Italian simply by talking to visitors from around the world. By age 18, he earned his professional chauffeur-guide certification. He wanted to show guests the Morocco that locals know: the hidden tea spots, the authentic family homes, and the silence of the deep dunes.
A Local, Family-Owned Morocco Travel Agency
In 2003, Hafid decided it was time to build something of his own. He brought in his brothers, Yousef and Abdellah, to join the mission. Hafid became our mentor, teaching us that a great guide is a bridge between cultures. We traveled together, learned the roads across the High Atlas Mountains, and mastered the art of Moroccan hospitality.
Today, we are proud to be a 100% local, family-owned travel agency.

If Hafid is the wisdom of the company, Yousef is the energy. As Hafid’s younger brother, Yousef was also born in the dunes of Merzouga, spending his childhood playing in the sands of the Sahara.
From the Dunes to the Mountains
While his heart is in the desert, Yousef expanded his horizons. He moved to Khenifra, in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains, to pursue his education. This transition was pivotal. It allowed him to master the geography of Morocco’s rugged interior while earning his academic degrees.
The "Hidden Gem" Hunter
Today, Yousef is a fully licensed tour guide and a key partner in our family business. His time in Khenifra turned him into an adventure specialist.
He does not just stick to the main roads. Yousef knows the Atlas region intimately, from secret waterfalls that aren't on Google Maps to the quietest mountain trails for trekking. For travelers who want to go off the beaten path and see the wilder side of Morocco, Yousef is the guide who leads the way.
